Tonight's review: Zero Dark Thirty, Wreck-It Ralph, Warm Bodies
Zero - follows the series of events that took place leading up to the capture and subsequent killing of Osama Bin Laden. Moves slowly, but builds to the climax. Was on the edge of my seat like I had no clue of what was going to happen. Approximately 2 hrs, 40 minutes.
Rating: 4/5 stars
Wreck-It - kids movie (cartoon, and yup, I actually saw it). Poor Ralph is the bad guy in a video game and is unhappy. Enter the world of what happens to/in video games and their characters when the arcade closes. Full of grown-up cliches, truly funny moments and not too much of a moral that is killed w/ sappiness, this one truly is not just for kids and I chuckled quite a few times!! :-)
Rating: 5/5 stars
Warm Bodies - and yet another post-apocalyptic zombie movie. While I am a fan of them and scary/horror movies, this one was just, "enh." Moves very slowly w/ just a few funny moments. Offers a different idea about zombies, and how to cure them. Supposed to be a love story; I did figure out the analogy and what the story was supposed to be similar to, even though I thought the analogy was extremely cheesy (email/text me if you want to know, don't want to ruin it for those that want to see).
Rating: 2/5 stars (I honestly don't know if I would rent on redbox). Ah well!
