Ok, G.I. Joe fans, the "Joes" are back! Now, I saw the 1st one, and honestly, I absolutely hated it. It was not realistic (yeah, I know, but still), it was more of a comedy (when it really wasn't supposed to be), and just yuck, plain and simple. Retaliation, on the other hand, just WOW!! The toys and special effects were GREAT, the plot, GREAT, and I even enjoyed Channing Tatum for the 1st time in like, forever. (I'm sorry Tatum fans, the man can not act). Anyway, this movie in comparison to the first one is like comparing "The Hulk" to "The Incredible Hulk," not even sure why they made either of the 1st of either of these series, because the sequels were so much better!!!! The addition of The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) and Bruce Willis make this even more enjoyable. I heard some say that this was a disappointment in comparison to the comic books, but, as I've never read them (I only watched the cartoons), I disagree, lol! I was disappointed though, that this one didnt use the infamous line, "Knowing is half the battle, GO JOE!!"
