So.very.disappointed. Then again, maybe I'm not, I really didn't have high expectations.
Wait, sorry. I'm doing it again. I'm telling you how I feel and I haven't even told you about the movie yet.
Ethan Hawke plays a former race car driver. His wife is kidnapped, and he is forced to drive while someone tells him what to do and where to go. If he doesn't follow instructions, they will harm his wife. Oh yeah, Selena Gomez is in this movie too, she plays the passenger.
Thats all. There is nothing else to tell you because thats all there is to it. All 90 minutes of it.
Rating: 2/5 stars - Big yawn on this one. If you like car chases, you might enjoy it; maybe (and that is a very big maybe). But thats all there was, just car chase after car chase after car chase. Have you ever seen the movie called Phone Booth, where Colin Farrell answers a call in the phone booth and is threatened if he leaves the booth without doing whatever the caller says? Well, that is exactly what this movie is like except the main character is in a car. If you throw in the last 30 minutes from Gone in 60 Seconds, you have the entire movie. Another disappointing movie from Ethan Hawke. Selena Gomez' lines felt forced, especially when the writer decided she needed to curse. SO glad this was a free screening. SIGH.
